CANCELLED CONTRACT BILLED ONE MONTH CANCELLATION

I entered into a Cell C data contract (2GB sim only) on 29 November. On 6 December I went back to the same shop I got it from to cancel as we had hardly any reception in the centre of Randburg. I was told that, as I had already paid a connection fee of R114 and had hardly used any data (just enough to check the poor reception), that I would be charged for the data used (which was minimal) and refunded the balance. I received a bill for R292 from Cell C yesterday and, when I called their customer service, was told that I am being billed for one full month's usage despite the fact that I do not have access to their network and have not used anywhere near the 2GB I'm being billed for. I have stopped the debit order with my bank and have advised Cell C that I am not happy and I have registered a complaint with the National Consumer Council. I cancelled within 7 days, as allowed in terms of the CPA, yet Cell C still wants to bill me an unreasonable cancellation fee, which is also not allowed in the CPA. There is no way on earth I will ever use Cell C again!
