Happy to Charge for unusable service

I stay in the Edenvale area and I'm on MTN uncapped LITE and it is totally un-usable. It takes me literally 1 minute 13 seconds on average just to open google. Even though I'm still in my 3GB cap. I phone the call center to get assistance who says that there was a problem there before but it has been "resolved". They assure me that someone will phone me back, that was 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. I then phone to ask to cancel my contract but they want to charge me almost R1000, even though i can't use the "service". I go out and buy 8.TA and CellC pre-paid data just to test if it is maybe the area that I'm staying in. 8.ta and CellC Opens Google betw. 2 - 5 seconds almost everytime. I dial up to the office on 8.ta and CellC and it works like a charm. Go back to MTN and almost a minute again to open google. I can't even get to speedtest.net to test my speed. How can they advertise and then sell you a service as 3G when you can get better response from a 14.400 dial-up modem. I might as well pay the R1000 either way I'm wasting money.
