About a month ago I cancelled my internet service with Telkom. Reason being that I could get a better deal with a different internet service provider. A few days later I received a call from their retention department who then offered me a better package that would cost R80 extra to my monthly premium which I then agreed to.

All was well until I received my first bill of R894.00 a cost of almost R300 more than the package they offered me.

I contacted the call centre and held on the 25minute until the lady told she can't help me and transferred my call the internet department. when they eventually answered and I explained my problem the lady told me I'm at the wrong department and transferred the again call.

Why did they overcharge me? How long does it take for Telkom to give answers? why do I have hold on so long and still have go in circles?
