On 22 January 2014 at 16:11 I received a sms from Telkom stating that "your report reference number 125CTK120114 was restored". This was obviously not true as the line is still dropping, though at longer intervals.

Since early December 2013 we experienced problems with the telephone and landline. Initially the problem was caused by of copper cables and we had to wait for the replacement of the cables. Then when the ADSL line kept dropping we were told that the lines are upgraded.By today this still appears not to have been done.

The technician who visited me on 27 December 3013 suggested that I install a new filter - which I did with no improvement. Between then and now technicians at the call centre twice reconnected the ADSL line, with no success.

I am paying my TELKOM account regularly (be debit order). I expect a regular service.
