Transfer of landline. NON EXISTENT

I applied for line line transfer in middle december already for my ADSL line. As i have moved house, only one street from where i was staying.

First lady that I spoke to told me that at the new address, the is no adsl line, and also no wireless service, i must rather cancel my line.

Next day I phoned again, got a order number with no problem.

On 31 December when i moved out of my old house, I phoned again to hear what is going on with my order, the lady informed me that telkom doesn't install telkom lines in my area anymore as the lines get. But my new neighbbour does have a telkom line. HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS ADD UP???

I spoke to the local technician, and he came to look at the lines. He informed me that a new telephone pole needs to be set up. Next day early in the morning, the technical guys was here to put up the new telephone pole. Very happy about that, I am gonna get my new line in the next few days.

Up until now... NO TELEPHONE LINE!!!

Its almost a month since i applied for the transfer. WHAT IS UP WITH TELKOM SERVICE???

But you guys expect me to pay for the full month use of the line, but with no service.???
