I am a platinum subscriber at Vodacom and hold numerous celphone contracts with them. On 24 Dec2013 I requested quotations for premature cancellation of 4 of my contracts - these were sent promptly.
I then committed to payment on this date and sent the proof of all these payments along with the signed quotations from Vodacom Brits. They gave me a confirmatory printout that the proof of payments and relevant agreements were successfully sent to the relevant departments.
The quotations stipulated that these contracts would be terminated within 5 days of payment received.
I discovered however on the 6th of Jan14that these lines were still active and that I was billed 4 . Being 4 contracts and having paid the penalties relevant 2thepremature cancellation, I am not in the position to pay these accounts without affecting my budget.
I submitted online & telecomm enquiry and was told 2 send my proof 2 an email address supplied, this I did - it was read by Vodacom yet no response was received either by telephone or email.
I re-submitted on 13Jan and again on 19Jan still no response & billing as well as lines are active. This constitutes an act of. Further action to be taken.
