Will not escalate to a team leade

Speaking to the call centre (bongani Nchunu and angeline Nksosi) in the retentions dept today I was admittedly very angry and being very disagreeable by this stage but the long and short of it is this

Vodacom would rather have me cancel my contract prematurely which will cost me R1134.97 my instalment of R529 at the end of the month (my contract has 7 months to go at a value of R3703.00) and lose me as a client, instead of upgrading my contract (and they would automatically make a additional R2040 before I even start paying for the new upgrade)

the reason I want to cancel or upgrade my contract is because I am on a mymeg750 deal and am paying R220 for 750meg which is daylight but all the well priced packages like the my gig 3 for R149 are considered promotional so I can not migrate to them. I have to pay the higher price.

I have subsequently taken a Iburst contract where I get 20 gig for R199.00p/m

something is not right

and the escalation process at Vodacom is prohibitive it took me 20min talking to a call centre guy before he would escalate because he could not help me and a further 30min speaking to the team leader before she said she could not help me
