Upgrade nightmare

I phoned Vodacom in December 2013 to cancel my contract that was due to expire in January 2014. One of the very helpful consultants offered me a special deal. I would receive 120 anytime minutes, 300 sms's and 300 500 MB of data anytime.
Needless to say when I accepted the offer my nightmare started. Vodacom seem unable to load this deal onto their system-why then sell it? In December I experienced problems and again in January. My data was switched off at 300MB limit and I cannot use my smartphone for anything except for phoning or sending normal sms's.
I've phoned and logged calls for the past three days. I'm disappointed that I did not cancel my contract when I wanted to. Vodacom sold me something they cannot provide. Vodacom please collect your handset and I will contract with a service provider that can deliver on their contracts with customers. I lost all my confidence in you and don't want to be in a two year contract having to go through this for the next 23 months.
