Vodacom
New customers more important than existing ones

Telecommunications

My contract is now due for an upgrade but the phone I need and the contract that serves my needs is not available to me as an upgrade however the handset and contract is freely available on their website and stores, just not for my upgrade.
It seems that new customers are more important to Vodacom than their existing ones who have been loyally paying their fees for the last six years.

I may not be a heavy user, but at one stage I had four mobile contracts and a tablet data deal as well.
I have moved some contracts to another service provider (with much cheaper rates) and will be moving the data deal on tablet as that comes to end in a few months.

I need a handset upgrade urgently so I will be forced to take a contract with minutes and sms's that I don't need just to upgrade my handset but at the end of the next contract I will move this one as well.
With two children requiring ipads for school next year, that is soon to be seven contracts from me that will no longer be on Vodacom.

Maybe you should think about servicing your existing customers before chasing the elusive 'new deal'

Disillusioned and discarded
