Vodacom is ripping people off

In the month of November I noticed that my account which I normally pay R129 (monthly fee) for was on R329 on the online bill. That day I STOPPED using it and I set a limit on it. I was surprised that they don't even notify you when out of bundle billing kicks in. I have data with a different service provider once data is finished when you use the internet a message pops up stating that if you continue you will be billed on an out of bundle rate. A few days later I noticed that the amount has gone up with out me using it which I found strange. In December I noticed that my "current" bill was over the R129 even though I still had data. on enquiry which took over a month and I had to follow up all the time they say it is for the last day of November. I stopped using my WiFi modem as soon as I realised I was out of bundle and my bill was at R329. I feel cheated really... Vodacom is ripping us off, over the time I had this I have learnt how to manage it and have always paid a fixed amount and I did nothing out of my regular activities during November. Can you also stop sending messages to a modem while you have my vodacom contract cell number when you know I won't be able to read them.
