I renewed my contract in 2012 may/april to a my gig 1 promo@ R99... As per the contract I was to received 1 gig worth of data for a fee of R99 per month and if I exceed the limit then would be billed for that..(at a crazy rate of R1 per mega byte used). For the 1st few months I was billed twice the fee that was agreed upon and only once or twice did I get billed the R99 agreed upon. I then enquered, and they gave me a an explaination that I exceeded my limit and was billed for the excess. What buffles me is that I had never, except for the month of November exceeded my data limit. I was billed R500 in December for that, I complained but did not get any explaination. To make matters worse is that, I have to pay VODACOM to produce a itemised bill that they are supposed to provide to me for free (if not, be able to explain why my bill was so high).
Now in Feb, I received another billing for R300! That is insane as I did not use my data in December and was on leave for the 1st 2 weeks of Jan. For a person who does not use data that often, I find it very odd that I always seem to exceed my monthly 1 gig limit.
VODACOM ARE RIPPING US OFF... THEY ARE MAKING A PROFIT BY CHEATING US
