On 13/12/13 my folks ordered an uncapped ADSL line. The wrong line was installed ie: capped 5Gig. Line was then changed to uncapped but hasn't worked since changed. Technician came out, tested, left saying all in order, however line only works intermittently. The internet light and ADSL light on the router flash and go off which means there is clearly a problem, but Telkom has failed to rectify this despite several calls and complaints to the call centre. My folks are pensioners and my dad works from home- this is negatively affecting their finances! Each person just keeps passing the buck and the situation has been going on for far too long now. There is an obvious problem with their line or router as the internet and ADSL lights on the router should stay on! I know this as I have it at my home. Can SOMEONE just sort this out. They are paying for a service which is not being delivered. It is now a month since the order was placed. Just because Telkom have the monopoly does not mean that they should be allowed to treat old people like this!! It is disgusting! Their landline tel. no. is recorded below.
