ADSL drops 80-100 times a day

We have had a 4 Meg Telkom ADSL line at home for 5 years. Since December, the line keeps dropping and we have spoken with Telkom on at least 15 occasions. The technician says he doesn't know what to do... we have changed the router 4 times, rewired the house, and to the pole, and still the problem persists.
The ISP is Mweb and they have been amazingly helpful, even sending us a new router.
Mweb and I have escalated this to the specialist at Telkom but have had no word from them since 4th February.
Please help get this sorted as I could not even write this letter and send it from home!
It is impossible to work like this!
