I run a business in Braamfontein. I called Telkom on Monday 6th of January 2014 to let them know I have a fault with the lines, which affect the internet. I reported that the phones are not working and the internet is not working. They gave me a reference number and said a technician would be sent out as soon as possible. I emphasized that because I am running a Promotional company without phones and internet the business is crippled. He again assured me that as soon as a technician is available they would be dispatched. This conversation took place at 8am on the 6th of January. It is now the 8th of January and NO technician has been sent. I have lost 3 days of productivity. I have phoned Telkom more than 10 times to follow up, sometimes getting through to a live voice, sometimes not. When I do get through they say "I can see your query has been logged, as soon as a technician is available one will be sent to you"... it's day 3 no technician has been sent. Telkom is really holding South AfricaNsiki at ransom. I have never experienced such HORRIFIC service as a customer! Somebody at Telkom really must rethink their client services strategy... because it!!
