MTN Billing System Broken

I have an MTN contract with direct debit order for the full amount each month.

Last week I found that my service had been disconnected - I couldn't even call the call centre as my service was barred?! I had to call the call centre from another phone waiting for AGES and thus using airtime now owed to me by MTN. I was told it was a "system mistake" and was reconnected.

This week I received an email saying that my payment was overdue, threatening to report me to a credit bureau.

This is ridiculous - my debit order is set up to pay the full amount each month. I have never paid late. This is not the first time an MTN "system mistake" has messed my billing.

I tried calling the call centre again today - after over an houring of waiting I gave up.

Please sort this out ASAP - I have received SMS' before saying that my account is overdue even though this is not possible.
