I have been experiencing a problem with my internet functionality on my phone. I returned to the Autopage at Craighall, where my contract resides, several times. Every time I am given a different reason why the issue persists and get told to wait a few days and the problem will be resolved. This issue has been ongoing for over two weeks with no resolution in sight. In the interim, I am not able to access the internet or data related service, however with each attempt it appears that my data usage adding up.
The reasons for my problem have been as follows;
- APN needs to be synchronised (This was done with no result)
- Phone needs a software update (Done with no result)
- Faulty sim card (Sim card replaced with no result)
- Again an APN issue was explained. Then during the same visit to the shop I was told a long winded story blaming the service provider and that the fault was linked to my number on the network.
The fact of the matter is that my sim card and phone do not work together for some or other reason. My sim card in another iPhone works perfectly. Another contract sim card from another user functions perfectly in my iPhone.
