2 weeks for a sim card activation

I renewed my contract with Nashua mobile on the 9th of July 2013. I was given a new sim card as the handset I selected requires a different type of sim card. The sim card activation was said to take 2 - 24 hours from the time the activation was requested in store. I realised that the sim card had only activated with data capabilities and not voice functions meaning that I had internet and e-mail but no sms or telephone functions. Since then I have been into the branch a further 2 times, spoken to the callcentre more times that I can remember until the matter reached a head on Saturday the 20th where I insisted on a resolution. The callcentre agent was kind enough to call me back on my wife's phone (as I no longer have a functioning phone for receiving calls) and told her that we could go back in to our nearest branch and pick up an already activated sim card and all would be sorted. I did this and when I arrived at the branch they had no knowledge of this activated sim card. This is after promises from the call centre for manager to call back, to wait for ANOTHER 2-24 hours on a number of occassions. This is now apparently an IT issue on NM's side and still I wait for resolution!
