No data after 3gb data bundle purchase

I bought a 3 gigabyte data bundle for my tablet on 13 December. After a while I checked the balance and the data bundle did not show. I emailed Vodacom and a consultant phoned me back. He told me he can see that I purchased the bundle and that it would take a while for the usage to show up. I continued to use the Internet. This morning I checked my usage again and it still did not show. Instead it stated that my balance so far has jumped from R800 after the purchase to R1350. It was R500 before I made the purchase. Clearly I was using out of bundle rates. I phoned Vodacom again and this time they told me they will look into the matter and will phone me back. I'm still waiting for that call. This is really unfair as I was told by a Vodacom rep that I can continue using the data. I know for a fact I'm now responsible for that high bill even if I was told everything is OK. This is beyond bad service from Vodacom.
