I was shocked to read my account summary online (on the Vodacom website). I have a 2GB data contract in which the data is split into 1 Gig during the day and 1 Gig Night Owl (midnight to 5am) and the deal is R99 per month. In the first month of my contract, I was billed over R500 and I called Vodacom to put a R50 limit on the account to ensure I never use over R50 in case I spend all my data hence I usually pay around R99 and R200. In the past two (2) or three (3) months Vodacom has been allocating 2 Gig during the day and 2 Gig Night Owl. I was NEVER consulted about this change and have never signed anything in writing or verbally to authorise the change and I assumed this was a promotion they were running. In the past month I was billed R1468.81 which is IMPOSSIBLE as I have a R50 limit and I CANNOT be accountable for system failures on Vodacom's side or be charged for a promotion I never requested. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT!
