You really can't afford such poor customer service

Just a warning to anyone looking at getting an Mweb account: Customer service is terrible at the moment.

After experiencing line speed problems and intermittent connections for weeks, I'd finally had enough and complained to Mweb. I sent them trace-routes, ping statistics, a network speed test (2 different ones) confirming that my 1mbps line was BARELY scraping 500kbps, and asking them to please correct this. I've checked the router and the land-line, and both are fine.

Long story short: THREE DAYS LATER I get a response from them saying that yes, my line is slow, but it's probably my fault for not letting them manage my line... and asking me to contact Telkom to get them to fix it.

With it being so easy to get a connection with another ISP, you guys REALLY can't afford such poor customer service.
