Poor response to network failure

MWEB have been my ISP since 1997. I recently upgraded my ADSL line and moved management of the service to MWEB from Telkom who have the ADSL line. What I find particularly galling is that I ran my service very satisfactorily for years with Telkom, with no problems whatsoever. I then moved the service management to MWEB and at the same time upgraded the line speed to 2MB. Then the problems started. Line speeds at less than a quarter of the paid for speed. I was getting test results of less than 500kbps on a 2MB line. Then it works for a while at around 1, 5MB (which is acceptable on a contended service) and then it drops to 200Kbps and so it goes. I have reported this time and time again and no-one seems to be able to sort anything out. Mweb blame Telkom who say its an exchange problem and no one knows when it will be fixed, if ever - but they keep debiting my account. The Mweb agent tells me that there is nothing they can do - which is a cop out - no one takes any responsibility. This is basically. If you are unable to deliver then do something honest and admit it. Try to help but don't just do nothing. You are amateurs and you are costing me my business. Grow up.
