Pathetic speed, due negligence on MWEB's part

I have been a loyal customer to MWEB for years now. over the last 2 months, my internet speeds have been pathetically low. i have been too busy, so did not get time to report the matter. i finally reported the matter 3 days ago, and was told that nothing is wrong with my connection. i then connected to the internet using my FNB account, and got DOUBLE the speed! so i called MWEB again, and was told that even though i have a 2mbps line capability (which the FNB connection is able to access), MWEB has placed me on a 1 MBPS speed restriction, hence resulting in the substantially lower speeds. in addition, i did a quick study, and see that I have been paying R488 per month for my 1mbps connection, and MWEB has advertised a 2mbps speed for R449 per month! The 1mbps line that i had been using in the mean time is advertised by MWEB for R339 per month! not only does MWEB stand accused of from myself, but they have also failed to advice myself of projected disruption of my internet access capabilities. I hope that this complaint result in reversal of charges, as well as an immediate migration to the appropriate line, facilitating my full internet access. thank you.
