Seven days return policy nonsense

Telecommunications

I had lost my phone which I replaced on Friday 29 Nov at Vodashop Wonderpark. I got a Sony Experia VLte- I promptly charged it and stated using on Sat 30 Nov. The battery starts losing its strength immediately after removing the phone from the charger, on downloading apps and setting my social networks and receiving emails, downloading or accessing something on the internet, the battery strength decreased from 97% to below 50% in no time- considering that I had messages since I had lost my phone, I had to return calls and respond to emails, the phone was hot- talking on the phone was horrible with the heat- the battery cannot last for a mere 6 hours on continuous use- this is a ripoff from both Vodacom and Sony- I returned the phone hoping to exchange it (on the 3/12) - only to be told it must go for repairs before it can replaced- I then checked reviews about the phone- all negative about the battery life of this phone. Vodacom staff should inform customers about possible problems when we purchase products from them. I think the phone is also a health hazard-how do you continue your conversation with a heated phone against your ear- I want it replaced/exchanged not repaired
