Sony Xperia Go must be recalled, poor battery life

On Friday 15 March i phoned Sony Ericson in South Africa's call centre wrt the poor battery life of my Sony Xperia Go i got 2 Jan 2013 on contract from Vodacom.

Sony Xperia told me to de-activate some features on the phone to enhance the battery life (optimal battery perfomance) they say. Can you believe, i paid for the phone with all its features, but in order to use it, i need to deactivate the features that came with the phone.

My question is, the phone's market value is between R4 and 5k, will Sony refund the users of this phone for not being able to use all the features, that they claim take battery life? Why did Sony put these features on the phone if it need to be disabled, why did they send this phone out in the market knowing it cannot give optimal performance for the price?

Sony must recall all their Xperia Go's and if there is any other Sony Xperia's with the same problem, recall that too, since you have your tips ready on your call centre, why dont you make better offers to the users of the low battery performing phone. They told me its the ginger bread software, but the software use around 19% battery life? i'm concerned!
