New fone, pathetic battery life

My mom exchnged her talking points for a phone earlier this month, they got her a phone i didnt like, i spent weeks trying to exchange for the one i want but soon realised it wasnt going to happen, i decided to use the phone she got from wednesday, the 17th of april after charging it the whole night, from that day on ive had to charge the phone 3 times a day as the battery runs out! On top of that the charger doesnt work properly and had to use my old charger! For a phone thats berely a week old this is frustrating, given the fact that it wasnt even the phone i wanted in the first place, now im stuck with a phone with a pathetic battery life because the reciept was lost in the process of trying to exchange the phone
