I have requested on the 25/11/2013 that my ADSL Data Package with Telkom be cancelled with immediate effect (this after waiting over 45min for a consultant to answer). I was informed that there is a standard 30day cancellation period, which I agreed that I have no problem in paying for the 30day period but that I would like my Data Package rather CANCELLED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. I was told that my cancellation request would be attended to and was given reference number TOC571948051. After waiting two days and noticing that it was not cancelled I AGAIN sat on the phone for over 30min to query my cancellation - this time i was told that my request would be forwarded to Ops Manager - Nancy Mathebula for cancellation.

I have once again tried calling to query as my Data Package has still not been cancelled - this time I waited over 30min and hung up as this is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING & THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED FROM ANY COMPANY.

My question is this "WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO CANCEL MY DATA PACKAGE ESPECIALLY IF I'M WILLING TO PAY FOR THE 30 DAY CANCELLATION PERIOD??? "
