Telkom cancels phone line!

On the 21st January I called in to Telkom requesting them to cancel my data line as I wanted to migrate to MWEB. The data line with Telkom was always down for some reason and I was getting very frustrated with Telkom. On asking them to cancel the data line they cancelled the ADSL also which I hadn't requested them to do. Call reference (71238549A). Then I followed up with them 2 days later after asking MWEB why my data was not working. They informed me that my ADSL line was cancelled and I needed to call Telkom to correct. On calling Telkom I was informed that the ADSL will be activated in 7-10days!! This after their mess up. My line then mysteriously died on me. I called in and was given another call number and informed that a technician will be out in 3 days to see what the issue was (71528061A) this was 4 days ago and no word from Telkom. I haven't heard from the technician. I have spent close to 4 hrs on the phone over the last 2 weeks with Tellkom trying to get my line resolved and it really has been very disappointing and frustrating... I see why people have such feelings with Telkom...
