WHEN DID CANCELLING MY CONTRACT BECOME THIS HARD??

All I wnat to do is stop my contract! The 24 months have passed yet its been a nightmare changing to pre-paid! Instead I get hit with a bill almost twice as high as my normal bill! JUST CHANGE THE CONTRACTS TO PRE-PAID! I don't need another call centre agent telling me they need to email the cancellation department or another store assistant telling me they can't do anything! GET IT DONE!
