BLACKBERRY Z10 PROBLEM

I upgraded my contract to a blackberry Z10 and for the last month i have bene having endless problems, the battery life has detiriorat ed as it used to last me the whole day now it only lasts me 3 hours, as soon as the battery level reaches 40% the phone switches off and have to constantly keep it on charge, if i take the phone in for repairs i would have to wait up to 6 weeks, the closest vodaocms tore to me would be eastgate or mall@reds, what do you suggest i do to get urgent assistance as this is becoming very frustrating
