Problems with ADSL line

This is now the second time I have had problems with my ADSL line. The first time it took almost 1 month to resolve at great expense as I replaced my router (UNNECESSARY) and had to keep buying data bundles to run my business. I am unable to access the internet or send or receive e-mails as the process times-out as it takes too long to connect. I again have had to purchase data bundles to try and keep my business operating with some degree of normality. This line is used for Business purposes. This problem has been reported on numerous occasions now and I keep getting told that a technician has been dispatched. I've not seen nor been contacted by a technician. The response from agents at the Call Centre differs from agent to agent, some say they can see there is a problem on the line, other say the line's been tested and it's fine. There is a problem and Telkom needs to address the problem. A technician not connected to this case has told me that there are problems with the Telkom lines in Pierre van Ryneveld area due to lightning damage to the cables. I caanot afford to wait another month for this issue to be resolved nor can I afford to continue purchasing data bundles to work.
