My mother Portia Mbuli applied for a cellphone contract with Vodacom, when she got the phone, it wasnt what she expected, the following day she contacted their call center advising them of the problem, she was promised that they will send the driver to collect the phone which they never did. We kept calling the call center number on several occassions and given several reference numbers and promised by different agents that they will collect the phone which they still never did. Few days ago she received a letter stating that she owes Vodacom R1500.00 and they need that money urgenty and they have also updated her ITC as she has a contract phone, what is being done by Vodacom is not fair and also incompetent, can someone resolve this matter as soon as possible, and can they send someone to collect the phone and also amend her ITC accordingly.
