My contract was due for an upgrade in May 2013, went into a vodacom store sometime in May however that day vodacom systems were down. I called vodacom contact centre sometime end June/begining July, I was advised that the phone I requested for was not available on stock until 20 July 2013.The consultant assured me that the phone will be delivered to my mother at my residential address cos Im in Joburg, however when the phone was available my mother was called, she was advised that the phone cannot be delivered to her and she would have to collect the phone from the closest mall. She agreed to this, when she was at the mall than only she was told that having a copy of my was not sufficient. They needed a letter from me authorising that the phone be collected by her. I suggested sending an email to the store and which I sent to eMlazi Mega City store, consultant at the store provided the letter to my mother however after all that work, RAM required a letter from vodacom advising that the phone was to be collected by my mother, until today. I no longer want the contract and I am very disappointed with the bad service I am receiving from vodacom after 6yrs of doings business with them.
