CANCELLATION OF FIXED TERM CONTRACT

I've sent an sms 29 October to confirm the last day of contract. Get sms confirming that my last day is 6 December 2013.Go to their branch in Somerset Mall on the 4th of November to cancel my contract as from the 6th. Get sms confirming that it will be done the 31th of December. Phone the contact centre and spoke to Nicolaas also confirming the 31th. Send a letter twice to their Customer care e-mail without response. I find the 31th unacceptable and the change must be effectively from the 6th. The act provides that fixed-term consumer agreements must not exceed a certain maximum period. The regulation prescribe 24 months from the date of the consumer's signature as the maximum period. I may cancel such an agreement by giving 20 business days' notice. I want to cancel my contract as from the 6 of December and change it to Vodago en keep my number.
