I have a 2gig data dongle for which I pay more or less R200 a month. During the month I receiced an sms to say that my data usage is more than usual... thats it... the next thing I receive an account of R13, 000.!! I went to the brooklyn mall vodashop first to try and sort it out. They said that they will investigate and send a report to me and that this report will cost ex amount. I checked my inbox without any luck. I then phoned again to enquire about the report. Logged another query. Today I phoned again only to hear that thay have no query logged? Vodacom obviously tried to debit my bank account with th R13000 but I stopped it. I arranged with the consultant to only pay R1300 towards my cellphone. She then transferred me to the data department.the signal was so they just hung up.???!!! Then I received a friendly reminder sms from vodacom to please remember to pay R13, 000 and not R1300 like I just arranged. I am frustrated because its a waste of time to sort out anything at vodacom. I did not use R13000 worth of data... I will not pay for it. Why cant vodacom not sort it out? And why cant they just investigate the issue and send the report AND NOT TAKE MONEY FIRST
