2 Months and counting - still no resolution

In a previous post I explained the whole problem of my ADSL line generating massive amounts of CRC errors. Apparently we have to educate ourselves about these things so we can teach the technician assigned to the fault how to do his job. The equipment at the exchange is faulty. The Line is OK. They keep sending out line faults men who check the line and clear the fault on the system without checking with me. Now they have downgraded the line speed in an effort to resolve the problem but this has just made things worse. I have a number of lines that work fine. It is not a distance thing. It is and Exchange Equipment Fault.

I am ready to apply for additional lines to prove the fault is not Line or Subscriber Related. - Even though the modems work perfectly well on the other lines I already have. Then I will cancel the existing line and no doubt some other poor soul will end up being assigned the faulty port or whatever the problem is...
