We called Telkom to investigate the intermittent faults we were having on our ADSL line on Tuesady last week. The technician came to our house on Saturday. He put in some filters on the line and the ADSL line was now completely dead. He suggested that my modem was faulty and that I needed to replace it. He also informed me that he fixed what he could and the fault lay with my equipment. After he left we realized that the phone lines were also dead!!! This "service" was a disaster as we are now worse off than before because both the telephone line and ADSL are dead. I immediately reported this on Saturday expecting a speedy resolution. No one came on Sunday. Our lines are still dead today (Monday, 4th Feb). We phoned again today, and all they could tell me is that they will see to the problem... there was no commitment o fix the problem ASAP!!!
