TELKOM DAMAGES LINE AND CANNOT REPAIR!!!

On Tuesday, 23 JUly a fault was logged via Web Africa to Telkom, regarding a fault with the line. Terrence from Telkom called to advise that the fault was not Telkom's but Web Africa. Unable to clarify the matter with him our IT Specialist explained the fault and it was agreed the line was only operating at 10%. Mmabatho, the technician in the area was assigned to deal with the fault, she called several times to find out if the line was operational until finally we no longer had even the 10% use of the line. She came out to the premises and advised that the modem was faulty, which she later found that it was not the case. She advise that would revert the line back to normal, however she cannot do it telephonically and had to go to the department personally. To date we have no contact from Telkom as to when the lines will be rectified and all escalations / emails from Web Africa are ignored.
