Contract not Upgraded - Data Costs at my own COST

I did a contract upgrade after months of being lobbied by Vodacom to do so and being promised savings on costs from not doing the upgrade in store. I received my new phone as per the upgrade on Monday 28th Oct. The phone didn't work initially, not registering on the Vodacom network for 2 days. Now that the S4 Mini phone eventually registers on the network, I called them to confirm why my contract was still on the Talk 200 (Old Contract) and not on the Smart Large contract (250 mins, 500 sms, 500mb data) contract which I had signed up for. I was told to wait until 1st Nov 2013 for the new contract to be effective on 30th Oct. Now it is 1st Nov and I am still on the old Talk 200 contract where I have to pay for data at my cost, instead of using the 500mb data that I should have as part of my new contract. I have called customer care, Upgrades and even rewards asking for this to be rectified and after being sent from pillar to post, I was told it can only be effective 1st Dec which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE to me. I want this rectified immediately as it isn't my problem that Vodacom have totally messed this up. I need my new contract activated IMMEDIATELY. Mr. Khaole
