Saturday my pc's modem was damaged by the storm. Not sure why because everything was unplugged, anyway bought Billion on Monday pm & connected everything & inserted the disc & called Technical. Despite there been a message that new hardware had been recognised the guy was persistent in I guess doing only what he knew & wanted me to because that way took too long & get a laptop & then there was a problem with the ADSL line & my pc etc because my pc was not recognising the modem. With another storm brewing I wanted to finish asap & after about 20 minutes I said that I would call back later. It took a minute or 2 to get things set up and connected to the 192... number on the internet, called back & someone else guided me through the rest & all was done & working properly. If I wasn't a little bit pc literate I could have wasted money by listening to the 1st guy. Seriously I expect a bit more when phoning in for assistance. Something that was quite simple he was quite happy turning into a mission.
