I received a SMS on Thursday that call limit has been exceeded and that the phone has been soft locked. I phoned call centre to find out what was wrong. They indicated that the data exceeded limit of R250 and already stood on R370. I was very unhappy as limit was R250, yet they allowed excess to R370 before lock. Also why not only block the data? s there was still minutes available. Phone totally locked. I investigated & found that the 'auto update'was causing the problem. We were however never warned abot this. We then tried tounlock the phone by dialing call centre. 10H00 on 26 Oct 2013 - call centre said that I must now change limit to R400 to unlock. It will be unlocked in 1 to 6 hours. I again phoned at 16H00 as phone still blocked. Was then told that I must make limit R450 and buy data bundle R59 to get lock removed. Two hours later still no unlocking. I phoned yet again just to be told that we need to make the limit R580. A couple of hours later and still locked. I phoned again at close to midniht and was told to remove limit for unlcking to take place. I decided that this is going nowhere and was certain that I am not winning. I have four contracts with Vodacom, but this wi
