Terrible service to a 10 year custome

I have been an Autopage customer for over 10 years now. Every time I upgrade I have to fight to try get the same deal available from other providers.

I requested an upgrade on 11 Oct, and at the same time requested a port from Vodacom to MTN. I asked to be notified when the new handset would be delivered as I cannot just wait in our reception with my ID book and proof of residence ready. I called twice to try get a date/time when the phone would arrive. On 17 Oct I get back from a meeting to find that they tried to deliver the phone, on 18 Oct they deliver the phone again without warning, luckily I was in.

Since then, Autopage has still not managed to complete the port. I have called the call centre on Sat 19, Mon 21, Tue 22 and twice today! I was told it was a quick and painless process, but 5 call centre phone calls later of repeating the same story I would disagree.

Additionally, Autopage charge R37 more per month than MTN Direct for the same contract (the one I am moving on to). What extra value are Autopage providing me for the extra R888 I will pay them over 2 years? It is certainly not better service, at the moment they can't even arrange the port of my number!
