Have read with interest the reports about the bad service from Vodacom. I too am at the 'hair-tearing-out' point, which I am beginning to think is Vodacom's strategy - push you to the brink until you give up! Have been trying since the end of November to get assistance from Vodacom regarding the fact that the area I have moved to has little or no signal and I cannot use my cel phone or 3G . ENDLESS calls from me later (no-one EVER calls back when they promise to, today being yet another example) and lovely little sms's from the legendary Chris Oppelt to say the matter is being looked into or after yet another call from me, that it has been resolved (when it has not), I am still in the same position 8 wks later. They did advise they cannot put a tower up at the moment but if I want a signal booster I must pay for it! The cherry on the top is that they told me I will have to pay cancellation fees if I cancel any of my three contracts!!! Shame on you Vodacom, the amount of complaints on this site must surely tell you something? If you cannot assist with a signal booster then surely you can waive cancellation fees, and attend to queries more promptly and efficiently?
