I had a misunderstanding with a vodacom telesales person who informed me that I was not getting the best value for money from my contract (082 426 7747 Weekend Anytime) and that she could restructure my deal to allow me to benefit fully. I accepted and was sent a new phone and SIM which is not what I understood. I contacted customer care and was pushed from pillar to post with after sales eventually saying that they would organise the cancellation of my 2nd account and come and collect the phone (071 332 3434). I have since had the activation fee debited from my account.

I contacted Vodacom again and they assured me that the phone would be collected and the R89.00 would be credited to my account.

The phone was collected.

I have just checked my Vodacom outstanding balance and not only has the R89.00 not been credited to my account, it shows as part of the balance owing. So where I actually owe R248.97 less the R89.00 that should be credited to my account... my balance shows that I owe R337.97.

I am fed up, it is a small amount of money but I have been with Vodacom for more than 10 years and I actually am considering cancelling my account.
