I have a contract with MTN that expired in April 2013. On the 10th of August i decided to migrate this contract to a lower package as we are not using this contract to its full extend. This contract effective date was 11 Aug 2013. MTN's billing date is on the 11th of each month. MTN billed me for the new month on the old contract info, resulting in my account being R800.00 more than it was supposed to be. I have brought this under their attention on the 13th of September already. Up to today, all i get is excuses why they cannot refund me my money. They say they have supplied the higher contract's air time for the month, that is why they cant refund me!!! My VALID contract states that from the 11 of August I am on a lower package. I should have been billed accordingly. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR A MISTAKE MTN MADE. They my money, and I must just sit back and say it is ok???
