I Phoned Vodacom Customer Care line this morning regarding my debit order that went off my account as it was a much larger amount than I agreed on and signed for. The person on the other end of the line was very rude and also could not speak proper English. So the communication was very difficult and hard to understand. Vodacom billed my R400.00 more thatn the amount I agreed upon. In August I changed my contract from a Smart Light contract to a R315 Top-Up contract, for the pure reason it's more economical and easier to manage. I still asked the lady that helped me, at Vodacom (Cape Gate Shopping Centre), if there will be any additional charges or costs and she promised me there won't be. The only thing I signed for was to confirm that I am changing my contract from a Smart Light Contract to a R315 Top-Up. I don't agree with the extra money they took, as I did not get a proper explanation this morning as to what it was for. I want my money back and I refuse to pay extra money next month as well. this is not what I signed for and agreed on! And now they want me, the customer, to go out of MY way to the branch where I signed for the changes and speak to the manager. Thank you.
