On the 6th November 2013 I visited Chatz Northgate in order to enter into a cell phone contract with Vodacom. I signed a contract for a deal called Smart L this would cost me R 319.00 per month according to the contract. I was told I would be billed an extra R 7.50per month if the incoming number was to show on my phone, I agreed to this. The contract was to be activated on the morning of the 7th November 2013. This did not happen and I called the shop on the afternoon of the 7th to find out what was happening. The salesman who had helped me on the 6th was not in and I was told he would phone me back. Needless to say I never heard from him on the 7th. This morning (8th November) he called me to say that he had not activated the service yesterday and I now had to pay R 349.00 per month for this same contract. I said I was not willing to do that and called Vodacom Customer Service who told me that Chatz could not tell me to pay more that and I should cancel the contract. I don't want to cancel the contract I think that Vodacom should honour the contract.
