Every month before the 28th, I make payment to to make sure my cellphone account is paid in full, Therfore I made payment on the 27th of January 2013. Vodacom then takes it upon themselves to softlock my phone as according to them I have reached my credit limit. This of course is a load of rubbish as they decide your credit limit is based on what you owe for your previous month and your current usuage. They should base the credit limit on one month not two!!! They should allow the consumer the time to pay their account until the end of each month before cutting their phone off. Upon phoning Vodacom several times to ask them to put my line back up, I was told that I need to send the proof of payment which I had faxed 3 times and emailed 4 times already. When I called them for a last time, I was told that they would put my line back up however I will be charged a fee to do that. I am not paying a fee for my line to go back up because Vodacom cannot conduct their business properly. So quick to cut off their customers lines irrespective that payment is made on time. Its absolutely disgusting and rest assured that I will not continue with Vodacom when my contract expires.
