2 weeks without phone/dsl line

There was a cable break in our area a while ago, I've been told that it was repaired on Wednesday the 11th of September. However my phone and dsl line are still completely dead. I've been calling almost everyday since it happened and all they've been saying is that they will escalate the problem, nothing has been done. The last thing I have been told is that will be fixed in 2 days time, however when I call back they just say they will escalate the problem.
