Our phone lines are down since 6 December 2012. Reason being the solarpanels were but the panels were replaced weeks ago but still theirs no phone in a radius of about 50km that is working. As we are living on farms (rural area) its very frustrating that we can't even all report the problem as their is no cellphone coverage nearby. We nead answers as if the lines will be in working order ever again and if we should cancel our phone lines and get ourselves VOIP phones with our internet companies (as about 5 of us did already). When we demand answers from the imediate persons in managerial positions, they all speak in diffrent togues as to what, where and when the problem will be solved. We are all in agriculture and their are al lot of our daily bussiness that needs to be done by phone as well as people with kids and older people that needed help by phone. No one could communicate with loved ones over the holiday season as well. We need to travel distances to cell phone coverage and just assure somebody or doing business call somewhere in the veld and we'r fed up to keep it up. Telkom is also sending us accounts for service they very well know we didn't had. Please HELP!
