I was overcharged for April 2013 invoice by Vodacom. I was adversied to log a service request on the 7th May 2013, since upon calculations with a Vodacom consultant at the Menlyn Walk In Customer care Store, we picked up the error in both the free 240 minutes as well as the billing which was over by some R322.00. I then requested that Vodacom prove to me as a client that the previous 18 months invoices were accurate. Unfortunately, until today, 20th August 2013, the issue is not yet resolved.
I have tried on several occasions to contact Vodacom billing department for the past three months without any success. This is a clear trampling on customer rights and unfortunately there is nothing one can do as a recourse to this behavior. However, if it was a client owing Vodacom, even 20 cents, that client would be soft locked immediately.
